Fly Tying Lessons
There is no better satisfaction in the world of fly fishing than catching a fish on a fly you tied yourself. For me fly tying is a form of art, the closest I will ever get to an art form. I can't play an instrument, draw a sketch, paint a picture or carry a tune, but I can tie a fly. I love going to a pond, river or the ocean and learning what the fish are feeding on, then come home and duplicate what I saw at the vise with fur and feathers. below is the first fish I ever caught on a fly tied by me. It hangs in a frame in my tying studio for constant inspiration.

Fly tying lessons can be done in the comfort of your own home or in my private studio. Lessons can be custom tailored to your requests. You can come in for one lesson to brush up on a technique or the progression of a particular pattern. We can also set up a series of lessons if you would like to go a little deeper into the world of fly tying. From #22 Midges to 4/0 Saltwater flies O'Neill's Fly Fishing has you covered.
Cost per lesson is $50.00. I supply all of the materials for the fly patterns, you need to supply a vise, bobbin, bodkin, scissors and thread.
